台電離岸風力發電運維中心完工祈福典禮，正是這樣的一個節點。隨著建置工作完成，基地的角色也從工程成果轉向實際營運支援，未來將承接維修、整備與後勤等任務，成為離岸風電持續運作的重要支撐。
因此，這場典禮所見證的不只是建築與設備的完成，更是離岸風電由「建起來」走向「長期穩定運轉」的轉折。當風場陸續投入服務，維運基地、支援設施與後勤體系的成熟度，也將直接影響整體能源基礎設施能否持續、可靠地運作。
For an engineering project, “completion” usually marks the end of one phase. For infrastructure designed to operate over the long term, however, it also marks the beginning of the next mission.
The completion blessing ceremony for Taipower’s Offshore Wind Operations and Maintenance Center represents precisely that transition. With construction complete, the facility now moves from being an engineering outcome to an operational asset, supporting maintenance, preparation and logistics for the offshore wind sector.
What the ceremony therefore signaled was not only the completion of a building and its systems, but a broader shift from “building offshore wind” to “keeping offshore wind operating reliably over time.” As more wind farms enter service, the maturity of O&M bases, support facilities and logistics networks will become increasingly important to the resilience of the energy infrastructure as a whole.
